Melissa is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of clinical experience. After working as a Registered Nurse in both surgical and ICU settings she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2018.

At Ona Skincare, Melissa leads a results-driven, patient-centered approach to skin health, aesthetics, and wellness. Her background working alongside a plastic surgeon sharpened her skills in advanced cosmetic procedures and fuels her passion for delivering natural, transformative outcomes. At home she is a proud mom to 2 dogs and a (not so mini) mini pig named Lucy.

Melissa is certified on multiple laser platforms and aesthetic devices, and holds advanced credentials in neurotoxins and dermal fillers. She also achieved the esteemed certification as an Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS), and an active member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN).

Melissa turned both her personal struggles with sleep and mood—and the unmet needs of her patients—into a driving force for change. Seeking real answers, she dove deep into hormone optimization and earned her certification through the BHRT Training Academy. Today, she channels that passion into creating a safe, informed space for women who feel dismissed or overlooked elsewhere. Her mission is simple: to help women feel heard, regain their confidence, and restore the vitality they thought they’d lost.
