What is BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate-to -severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary).

BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate-to-severe lines to form between the brows. Individual results may vary.

When will I see results from my BOTOX® treatment?

How long does BOTOX® last?

Visible results have been shown to last up to 4 months. Your own results may vary. Be sure to talk to your healthcare provider about what you can expect and when to schedule your next appointment.

Is treatment with BOTOX® Cosmetic painful?

Discomfort is usually minimal and brief. Prior to injection, your physician or nurse may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream. The entire procedure takes approximately 10 minutes. Most patients are in and out of the physicians office without downtime following BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment.

Ideal Candidates for BOTOX®

Botox is an excellent cosmetic treatment for those who want to rejuvenate their facial features without the need for a highly invasive surgical procedure. Before undergoing this cosmetic treatment, it is essential for you to schedule a consultation. It is important that you are in good physical health and have realistic expectations. We’ll talk to you about your medical history and assess your skin to find out if you’re a good candidate for the Botox treatment.

How Much Does BOTOX® Cost?

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to cosmetic surgery. Every treatment is customized to fit the needs of each individual patient. Because of this, the cost of a Botox treatment will vary from patient to patient. Pricing for Botox starts at $13/unit and the price you’ll pay depends on the number of units necessary to achieve your ideal look. We also provide financing options to help make payments more affordable.

BOTOX® COSMETIC PRE AND POST INSTRUCTIONS
