Introduction to Restylane®
One of the most effective treatments used to prevent or reduce permanent lines and wrinkles is a filler called Restylane®: an extremely effective injectable treatment that can provide a long-term solution as it penetrates deep within the layers of your skin, rejuvenating from within.
What Does Restylane® Do?
Restylane® is composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally produced nutrient within our bodies that plays a vital role in keeping skin healthy and youthful. Hyaluronic acid helps the body retain water in the tissues to keep skin hydrated and moisturized. As we get older, the production of hyaluronic acid in skin tissues decreases. To help supplement natural production, Restylane® utilizes a gel-like formula composed of synthetic hyaluronic acid that is injected into the skin to fill wrinkles.
Restylane® is most commonly utilized to combat the following:
- Deep lines that run from the bottom of the nose to the corner of our lips.
- The lines that extend from the end of our mouths to the bottom of the chin.
Additionally, Restylane offers a line of products specifically tailored to address a variety of other areas of the face.

Restylane® Lyft
Not only does our face show signs of aging, but our hands do, too — skin can appear loose and sagging on both the face and hands. Restylane® Lyft strategically injected into certain areas of the face (cheeks) and hands (back of the hands), increases volume creating a more youthful appearance.
Restylane® Refyne
Over time facial movements create permanent lines on the face. Around the mouth area, we commonly refer to these as “laugh lines.” Restylane® Refyne strategically injected into the most prominent lines helps to soften these creases.
Restylane® Defyne
To avoid an unnatural, frozen look, which can be the result of an overuse of filler or using the wrong kind of filler when targeting deep lines and wrinkles, Restylane® Defyne helps promote natural movements of your facial tissues so that your look, while more youthful, is natural.
Restylane® Kysse
Lips are their fullest during youth and oftentimes noticeably deflate as we age. Restylane® Kyesse is a lip filler that increases volume without adding an unnatural plumpness associated with surgical procedures like lip implants.
